Uniflow 6-300 is an agarose-based affinity chromatography support. The particle size range of 300-500µm lends itself to affinity protocols where the feed stream is less clarified or highly viscous. Originating as a custom-made resin, this resin has proven so useful that we decided to sell it in our main product line. Uniflow 6-300 is a highly stable 6% agarose medium. Its agarose base features unique polysaccharide composition that resists biological degradation. Additional crosslinking greatly enhances the mechanical and chemical stability of the matrix and eliminates the problem of biodegradation.
