ActiSep is a nondenaturing elution medium which allows for quantitative recovery of antibodies from immunoadsorbents without loss of biological activity. This preserves biological activity of the antibody and extends the lifetime of the ActiSep medium. ActiSep is neutral and non-chaotropic, and contains no toxic ingredients. All ActiSep components are compatible with pharmaceutical use. Increased yield (97%) Instead of denaturing the antigen to release it from the binding, ActiSep gently desorbs if from immunoadsorbents. Biological activity retained (>90%) ActiSep allows the user to elute antibodies from immunoadsorbents under neutral, protein-stabilizing conditions. ActiSep delivers quantitative recovery of antibodies with no detectable loss of bioactivity.
