| CM Thruput Plus is a weak cation exchange resin
with a high capture efficiency and high dynamic protein binding capacity,
enabling the resin to process very dilute or highly concentrated feeds.
The strong ion exchange (Q/SP) beads stay charged and maintain high
capacities over a wide working pH range (pH 3-11). In weak ion exchangers
(DEAE/CM), capacity is a function of pH. Agarose-based ion exchangers
have a long history and are used in a great many therapeutic processes.
